Our debating team participated in a prestigious debating competitions. One was held at GCU and at LUMS Olympiad 2011. Participants included Faizan, Suleman, Haider and Ahmed. Our team managed till the semi finals at GCU. However, in LUMS Olympiad 2011 competing against the best team and speakers our team won . Way to guys!!! Also inorder to improve their skills our debating team also attended a workshop held at SICAS in May
Our young, talented musician Hassan Taseer and Harris managed to grab hold of 1st position at LUMS Olympiad 2011 in individual singing. Congratulation!! =)
This did not end the story at LUMS Olympiad. Our genius mathemetacians were declared runner up at the Math competition (Math enigma) at the Olympiad!
A poster competition was held by ACCA exclusively for SKANS students. Students were required to give a quotation describing as to why they were doing ACCA from SKANS. This competition was won by (write the names) . This proved to be a great honour for SKANS since it added to the good repute of SKANS declaring it the best institute for ACCA.
Auditions for the TV show 'living on the edge' were conducted in July. This changed the students mood by giving them a 'break' from their exhaustive routine.
